1st Annual "Newshound of the Year" Competition Have Closed and the Final Results Are In!

Thank you for taking the time to check and see how your favorite Newshound is doing. Please join us to hear the winning Newshound's "Acceptance Woof" at "Kibble & Bids - Autumn in the Hamptons" fundraiser on Saturday, October 3, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.

This event is the largest, annual fundraiser benefiting the hundreds of homeless and abandoned Golden Retrievers, and others, that knock on Homeward Bound's door every year from far and wide. They rescued 810 of dogs last year alone! 100% of the proceeds from "Kibble & Bids" are devoted to the care of the dogs. Homeward Bound has no salaried employees! It's 100% volunteer based!

This year "Kibble & Bids" is once again situated on the lush grounds of the Riverwood Estate along the banks of the Sacramento River. The afternoon will feature gourmet food from some of the area's finest restaurants and food purveyors, premium wine and beer tasting, a plethora of silent and live auction items, raffle and door prizes, live music, a jewelry giveaway and an entourage of grateful, rescued Golden Retrievers.
