Kibble & Bids™ is the premier fundraising event for Homeward Bound Golden Retriever
Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc. This year we are happy to announce that our event will be held
at an exciting new venue on October 8, 2011. Our guests will be greeted
by friendly Goldens and sip premium wines and brews and taste samples from some of our
area's outstanding restaurants and caterers while they stroll through the exhibits and down
the aisles of the fun and fascinating Hays Antique Truck Museum, a part of the Heidrick Ag
History Center in Woodland. The center with its two museums and event center is just a short
few minutes past the Sacramento International Airport. Live bands will perform both inside
the museum and on the spacious patio while guests peruse our silent auction offerings, take
chances on terrific raffle items, see what surprises our amazing vendors have to offer, have
their photos taken with friendly golden greeters, or take in the exhibits.

Take I-5 to Woodland - just a few minutes outside of Sacramento...
If coming from the Sacramento area, exit on Road 102. At the light, go
straight across Road 102 onto Hays Lane. The event is about 1 block down on the left. Turn
left into "Event Parking", and follow directions from our parking attendants.
If coming from north of Woodland, exit on Road 102. Go left back over the
freeway. At the light, turn left onto Hays Lane. The event is about 1 block down on the left.
Turn left into "Event Parking".

We're looking for all types of new items for our silent auction, and the balloon or the
raffle tables. Weekend getaways, gift certificates, wine, food, pet items, sporting goods,
theater tickets, artwork, trips, anything golf, pottery...you name it!

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers...we need you! Kibble & Bids wouldn't happen without the commitment of the
hundred-plus volunteers that are needed to support Kibble & Bids before, during, and

MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT
Kibble & Bids promises to be a great time, as we’ll be “a little bit country,
a little bit rock and roll.” Two great bands will entertain you. Home For Supper is an
all acoustic Bluegrass/Country/Folk band, and Rivergate blends classic rock with country, folk
and pop. Get ready to dance to the lively Rivergate tunes! The bands will perform both inside
the museum and on the spacious patio.
SILENT AUCTION
We plan to have great silent auction items again this year....great getaways, wonderful wines,
dining gift certificates, fun dog-related items, and much much more!
