Double The Gold Challenge 2008!
It's time for Homeward Bound's annual spring fundraiser, Double-the-Gold Challenge! A matching “fund of love” has been established on behalf of Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue that will double your donations during the months of April and May 2008. Led by the Healy Foundation of Southern California, a group of foundations, businesses, and individuals have generously offered to match your donations to Homeward Bound. The matching fund currently stands at almost $40,000 and is still growing! Are You Up For The Challenge?

Ryley's Run - Sacramento, June 8, 2008 
Please join us on June 8 at American River College and walk or run a 5k course with friends, family members, and our four legged friends. Ryley’s Run in Sacramento will benefit Homeward Bound and other local rescue making a difference in abandoned and abused dogs lives. Ryley’s Run began as a fundraiser for one dog, Ryley, found in Florida. He was nursed back to health and adopted out to a wonderful family, and his spirit is the inspiration behind Ryley’s Run. Ryley's story is no different than some of the abandoned and abused dogs that Homeward Bound helps each year. 

Sunday, June 22, 2008 -  Homeward Bound Reunion Picnic
This event is always very special! All of Homeward Bound's supporters are invited, and every family who has ever adopted or fostered a Homeward Bound dog is invited to attend and bring their dogs. Come celebrate another year of Happy Homecomings!

Calling All Homeward Bound Volunteers and Supporters! For ONLY a buck, YOU can help give homeless Goldens a brighter future! Barking For Bucks is a fundraiser designed to recur monthly, with the donations earmarked specifically for non-routine veterinary care for our special needs Goldens. Can you spare a buck to help our special needs Goldens?
