Keepsafe Collar
Is your dog in danger of being strangled by his own collar?  Dog collar strangulation is more common than you might imagine. Collars can easily get caught on door knobs, cabinets, fences, crates, and a host of other objects. The dog will often twist and turn in an effort to get free, sometimes with disastrous results. K-9 Carts were invented by a Veterinary Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Lincoln Parkes, in the early 60’s, when he was a surgeon at the Animal Medical Center in New York. He realized that there were many paralyzed pets, for which, surgery was not an option, nor would they probably regain use of their rear legs. Yet, it was obvious that owners loved their pets and did not want to have their pets put to sleep simply because they could not walk independently.
