Kaley

Hi, my name is Kaley and I am a 4-year-old female golden retriever and I live with my parents and sister. When I first met my new family about 7 months ago I was not sure; if I would like it here, you see I knew almost immediately that my new mom had been around pets very little in her life and was sort of scared to be too close to me. And I had a fear of my own, my previous parent had hit me and not cared for me very much; so I was afraid of Dad, I thought he would hit me and do something to hurt me. But my dad is very sweet and when I forget that he is not the person who used to hit me, he is patient and forgiving for he has never gotten upset at me; I feel so bad when I forget that I kiss him all over. I take care of Briana and make sure Dad does not forget to go get her from school just when it is time to go get her I let him know by going to the back door and hop in his car. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I have a good buddy she is a cat and we eat breakfast together every morning.

Well, I think my mom and dad and of course my sister are as happy with me as I am with them because I heard my Dad say that he may want to get me a pal, just like me, another Golden, and mom said that she never thought she would care or love a dog as much as she cares about me; and Briana and my dad both agreed that they all love me. Just when I thought life was rough and nobody would want me I go and fall in love with them.
 
I have a couple of pictures so you can see how "rough" life is at my home. I got Dad eating out of my hand, but do not tell him, he thinks he is the boss. Well, I have got to go now I think I need to be brushed and I love it.
