Darwin

Dear Jody and Mike, 

Just wanted to let you know how wonderful and sweet Sadie and Darwin (Cole) are. Sadie is so happy to have a dog to play with her. They play tug-o-war, wrestle, swap the chew toy, etc., and Sadie only has to put her foot down once in a great while. Darwin is just an attention-loving affectionate pup - he is working on his greetings which are sometimes overly enthusiastic, and has learned to stay for short periods. He is extremely food-motivated, which makes for easy training.  

Sadie and Darwin seem to be loving life. Sadie has lost a couple of pounds that she put on this fall when her feet were operated on. Darwin sleeps well through the night and really looks forward to their morning and evening walks. We have taken them down to the river a couple of times, and they both smiled the entire way. Darwin, if you recall, was afraid of riding in cars - or even walking by one - but short trips to the store for treats seems to be curing him of this. Pretty soon he’ll be sniffing the wind as we drive along!  

Anyway, thanks so much for the incredibly important work that you do. You have certainly given our family years and years of joy.
