Success Story

Chase

May 19, 2002

Hi Jody and Homeward Bound Folks,

I have intended to write this for a long time to catch you up on Chase who came to live with us last October.

Chase has attended two good manners classes and we are now working on the Canine Good Citizens test. She is very smart and intuitive. She was very needy for many months but when we started classes she seemed to start to relax and realize she had two people to belong to. She still shows signs of insecurity in unfamiliar situations but takes less and less time to relax again.

My husband has just retired and I will follow soon so Chase will be a traveling dog. I have included a picture of the RV she will travel in. She thinks it is great and loves to watch the world go by from the big windows.

We hike a lot and she is about 75 pounds now and gets compliments on how pretty she is. I did have to get used to how tall she is but I think we have all settled in very well. We love her and she has become the only child.

Thanks again for your help in finding Chase for us.
