Success Story

Annie

Dear Homeward Bound,

On December 2nd, Annie (formerly known as Bambi) joined the Go Family of San Francisco. We rendezvoused with Jody at the Vacaville Petco and drove Annie to her new home in San Francisco. At first, she kept looking for Jody and Mike. But the boys, Doug and Sammy kept her well occupied. It took Annie 3 nights to decide where she would like to sleep. The first night she slept in Sammy's bedroom, the 2nd night she slept in Doug's bedroom, and finally she found her spot on the 3rd night in Mom and Dad's room. She has a luxuriously soft bed to stretch out on.

Annie likes to play with her stuffed friend, the pink alligator, named "Baby", and her other friend, a stuffed yellow pineapple whose name is also "Baby" (what a coincidence!).   When Annie arrived, we had a pet hamster name Mochi. Annie self-appointed herself as personal bodyguard to Mochi. Annie could spend hours watching Mochi. Unfortunately, Mochi passed away earlier this year. Annie misses her dear friend.

Annie loves to go on long walks, and play in grassy fields. She also loves riding in the car. Annie is very affectionate and loves us to pet, rub, massage, talk and hold her! She is so gentle and loving! We love her!! She is our very beautiful Annie-girl!

Thanks again,
Denise
