Success Story

Tyler & Katie

Dear Homeward Bound,

The trip home went well, we stopped once for a quick pee-break, but most of the time they were just sitting back there and watching the traffic...

When we got home, they gave the whole place a thorough checkup, and apparently it passed, since they settled right down. I can't tell what sleeping arrangements they picked, since I didn't want to disturb them, but I didn't hear a peep all night, and this morning they were well rested and hungry.

We went for a long hike, and they quickly adjusted to the leash, Tyler leading and Kati glued to his hip. I had forgotten how nice it is to get some uphill boost from two vigorous dogs - we made great time! By the time we got back they were pretty tired, and just happy to lay quietly in the shade during lunch (as soon as they realized that there were no handouts to be had...). So this bodes well for the future!

Thanks for your help, and for all you do for your charges, I'll keep you posted on their development.

Franz
