SAM     

Dear Mike,

Sam is now laying on my bed (bed hog  :-) ), he lays on my feet, if I sit on the floor he'll plop his head in my lap, and will sometimes sit next to me on the couch but mainly sits in his own chair. I think it might be because Wilbur, my other dog, is usually on my lap when I'm on the couch. 

The obedience training is going so well. The instructor says Sam should be a therapy dog so I've bought a couple books and am reading up on that. One of the assistants at the training tests therapy dogs and will certify them! So she is giving me good information. This is our goal . . . lots of obedience training to become a therapy dog. 

I've attached some pictures you will enjoy! He is just Soooooooo cute. The instructor says Sam is just "I Am" and so regal. He is the best behaved dog in the class of 15 dogs! Everyone asks me what I did . . . whoever had him before did a great job of training. I wonder why they gave him up? My gain! I wouldn't trade him for anything.
