Dear Homeward Bound,

It has been a wonderful experience having Max in my life.  He is a very loving and caring friend.  He really looks out for me.  Because I am disabled,  when I  get  into a precarious situation he is right there as if to watch and make sure I remember to do things right.  When we first got him, I heaped on the affection.  I knew he would be nervous in his new home, and I took him on LONG walks--1 to 3 miles.  I just hook his leash to the seat-belt on my wheelchair, and off we go!   He has built up a lot of muscle from these walks.  So he is a real buff dude.
