Kaya

Hi Sheryl,

I just wanted to let you know how great Kaya is doing. She weighs 68 lbs, and is in very good condition - running with my husband 3X a week. She was actually getting a little chubby if you can believe it! She really does not need to eat very much to maintain her weight, which makes it that much more amazing that she was so underweight when you got her.

Anyway, she is a cherished member of our family. We took her to Santa Barbara for Thanksgiving, and took her to the beach for the first time. She was in HEAVEN!!! I included some pictures of her enjoying herself on the sand. She has so much energy now that she is healthy - she can just run and run forever!! We will be taking her with our 13 year-old Kodi up to our lakeside house a lot this spring and summer and she will be able to run and swim to her heart's content.

We are so happy to have her in our family, and so grateful to your excellent foster care in the weeks before we adopted our red girl!
