COURAGE

                 

Hello, 

My name is Courage and I have quite the story to tell! I was a lonely stray in a place called Fresno, where somehow I got lost and badly injured by a car. My wonderful friends at Homeward Bound whisked me out of the local shelter and brought me to a loving foster home. My leg injury was quite severe, and could not be saved by my Vet Doctor, but that hasn't slowed me one bit! 

My first foster Mom, Pamela, worked really hard to help me heal and recover from my surgery - I even amazed her, and after a few weeks, I was able to walk 2 miles a day with her! 

My second foster Mom, Shelly, has a really cool place - I was able to frolic and play with all sorts of critters out on her farm. But I was searching for my very own place to call home. 

One day, a nice lady named Maureen from Homeward Bound took me for a ride to Aegis Nursing Facility. Right away, I knew this would be my forever home! I love it here at Aegis - I have all sorts of great people to love me and play with me, rub my belly, and take me for strolls in the courtyard! And guess what, I even get to go on field trips with all my folks! I have a great life here at Aegis, and I want to thank all my Homeward Bound friends for helping me find my way home!
