Success Story

Bailey

Bailey

Dear Homeward Bound,

We adopted Bailey on October 1st, 2005, in the middle of soccer season for our two older children, ages 12 and 10. Bailey just fit right in! From Homeward Bound, we went straight to a soccer game and Bailey was showered with lots of attention from all the kids! He did great.  Bailey has since been to many soccer games. He quickly and easily stepped into our family.

He was described as the perfect gentleman and he is! He and our Shih Tzu, LaLa get along very well * even to the point of sharing a bed at times. Bailey goes to the groomer about once a month. He and LaLa sleep with our oldest child in her bedroom. She says he sometimes passes stinky gas when he sleeps but she still loves him and wants him in her room at night!

Bailey enjoys his walks and visits to the dog park. He is easy on and off leash and has excellent house manners. He is gentle with our 1 year old and friendly with all of our children's friends. Someone is usually home with the dogs so they are mostly inside * only in the yard for brief periods to eat and do their business.

We love him and are so very glad we adopted him. He is a very good dog.

Thank you Homeward Bound for rescuing Bailey and for letting us adopt him.

Happy holidays to all of you!

David, Helen, Katie, Jackson, and Kyle.
