Amber

Dear Homeward Bound,

My name is Amber, and I came to live with my parents Tom and Maureen in October 2003. When I first met them, they both seemed really sad and heartbroken over the recent loss of their beloved canine child. So I knew I had a big job to do to help them heal and very big shoes to fill as well. Right away I brought laughter into the house with my daily youthful antics, my exuberance and love of life. 

I now have so many wonderful daily experiences, like running around in my own big backyard, rolling in the grass, and playing with all the other neighborhood doggies. I even get to go camping and hiking and swimming – such a dog’s life! And my parents don’t seem to mind when I sleep on their bed, even if it gets kind of crowded when I stretch out. What a great life I now have!
