Crystal Bear Boyer

1994ish-2007 

     Today was the day, some what expected that we got "the look". Our beloved Crystal Bear aka "The Money Pit", decided it was time. We took her to her vet who came out to the van so she could rest her head comfortably on her Papa's lap. She was on her favorite bed that matched her fiery Fox Red color. It was a crisp, sunny day which she loved so much when taking her big, long naps outside. Never flinching when her naughty brother, Chief, would head butt her and take nibbles off her soft, silky ears. Chief didn't leave her side since she became sick and The Princess Tahoe is an emotional mess, mourning the loss of her first sibling. 

     She was our first ever foster who never left. We are so thankful for her teaching us about the incredible world of rescue. In the end her heart, never ending tail wag or spirit didn't give up, but her old Sherman Tank body did.
