2011 HBGRR Rates TOP DOG at K9 Cancer Walk!
We did it! Team Homeward Bound aced the Canine Cancer Walk competition; we received the awards for Top Team and Top Fundraiser! Team Homeward Bound, 44 walkers strong, raised a whopping $7,235! Of that amount, Wolfgang Jilka of St. Helena raised $1915; he was our top fundraiser! Cathy Reay of El Dorado, also, deserves recognition as she raised $440!

ARTS to the RESCUE - JUNE 18th
Please join us on Saturday June 18 for Arts to the Rescue, an intimate summer evening of arts and elegant catered appetizers, along with wine, brews and cocktails, and an array of beautiful handcrafted items made by some talented artisans. This event will feature the artwork of Debbie Claussen and will benefit the Homeward Bound Goldens.

HBGRR Reunion Picnic
Join fellow adopters and their dogs on June 26th at Tahoe Park in Sacramento. Enjoy a BBQ lunch and spending the day with hundreds of grateful golden retrievers.

Pancake Breakfast at the Sanctuary!
Join us Sunday morning, July 10th, from 10am - 12pm, for the first pancake breakfast and open house at Homeward Bound Sanctuary. Adults are $10, and kids under 10 eat free. The dog park will be open for friendly dogs, for more information click here.
